At Bacchus Marsh Primary School we are committed to providing all students with disabilities and diversities with access to the highest quality educational opportunities. The school provides a broad curriculum that is designed to foster opportunities for students to reach their full potential academically, socially and emotionally.
Ongoing communication between parents, the school and, where appropriate, visiting professionals (speech pathologist, occupational therapist, psychologist, counselors etc.) ensure that realistic, achievable goals are set and consistent strategies are developed, implemented and reviewed to allow students the opportunity to experience success.
Students participate in literacy and numeracy activities at their appropriate levels and may also attend further activities such as life skills, shopping, cooking, gardening, construction, art/craft, cooperative games, special sport.
Students work individually, in small groups and with the whole class under the supervision of the classroom teacher and/or an integration aide.
